Newton

Newton has a pancreatic disorder which requires Lypex medication in each meal to allow him to extract nutrients from food.

All medications and suppliments are added to each meal.
Newton has two meals per day

Each meal consists of:

• 130 to 135g Royal Canin Anallergic kibble
• Add a splash of water to coat the kibbles
• Sprinkle half a sachet of Purina Fortiflora prebiotic
• Sprinkle one capsule of Holland & Barret Psyllium Husk
• Spray water to moisten the powder
• Sprinkle TWO Lypex capsules

Ideally feed Newton on the stairs

Aim to keep his weight at about 23kg or so.

Dakota

Dakota has two meals per day.

Each meal consists of:

• 90g Wild Cold Compress raw pellets (80:20)
• Add 1.2g to 1.5g of powdered egg shell (Dougie's)
• Submerge in water
• Add 140g of defrosted raw meat (80:10:10)

Typically use Dougies frozen raw blocks.

Each block is approximately 140g and must be defrosted over 24 hours in the fridge.

Ideally give 70g of Turket & Oily Fish and 70g of any other flavour.  Try to avoid beef and chicken.

Dibo mince 80:10:10 is also a good brand of raw food.

Quantities are the same as Dougie's

80:10:10 = 80% meat, 10% veg, 10% bone

80:20 = 80% meat, 20% veg

Dakota is very anxious.  She can be snappy towards other dogs, but not always.  Generally she likes human contact, but not every time.  We walk her on a yellow lead to warn other people.
